Kiddie Kingdom provides a safe, caring environment that promotes learning, child development and most of all, fun!  Our experienced and nurturing  teachers, and our spirited learning environment, fosters your child's growth and creativity.

the future of Kiddie Kingdom

Kiddie Kingdom started in September 1968 as an outreach ministry of the Ashland Christian Church.  Originally a half-day program, it was expanded to provide all-day care in 1969, and became the first licensed childcare facility in Hanover County.

In 1997, Kiddie Kingdom was selected for the first Hanover County Inclusion Program for Preschoolers with developmental delays.

Outgrowing its facilities often through the years, Kiddie Kingdom purchased its current home on Thompson Street in 2001.

10 years... 25 years... 40 years... That’s how long some of our teachers and support staff have been with Kiddie Kingdom! Not only are we proud of our incredibly low turn-around, our highly trained staff loves working with each other almost as much as they love working with the children in their care.
